Our Green Home

James and I designed and built our own home in 2010-2011. Our first night in our new home was December 31, 2011. You can learn more about the design and building experience by reading through our New House and Green Building posts. We made a concerted effort to incorporate as many green building practices as possible into the design of our home. We also did much of the building ourselves. It was a difficult year, but worth every drop of blood, sweat and tears. We love our home! Enjoy the tour, it's a work in progress.
