Getting Hitched, Part V: Bridal Par-TAY

After the ceremony ended, our guests went off to enjoy cocktail hour on the back patio of the farm house (more on this in a future post). We gathered our immediate family and our bridal party together for group pictures. We wanted to complete the task as quickly as possible so that our family and friends could enjoy some of the cocktail hour. Our photographer, Olivia, did a great job organizing us all and making sure we got all the shots we wanted. We did family and dog portraits first because the kiddos and canines had the hardest time with attention spans.

Once the family pictures were completed, it was time for our bridal party shots. All of the people in our bridal party are long time friends - talk about a par-TAY! Three of my girls: Kelly, Suzanne and Caitlin, have been my bffs since we were in grade school. My fourth bridesmaid, Kendall, is another bff of mine from my undergraduate years at Gettysburg. James' best man, Kryzsztof, has been his sidekick since they met in grammar school. The rest of his groomsmen were friends he met in high school. All of us are inseparable. It was so special to have them all with us on our wedding day!

We took one or two formal photos of the group...

But then we let loose! These are my favorite pictures of our group.

This final picture just makes me smile! We are so lucky to have wonderful, fun-loving friends!!!
