A Year in Review: 2015

January
Last month of maternity leave. Sully turns two months old. Lots of snow.

February
Back to work. Sully starts day care. More snow.

March
Kids are bonding. I start exercising more, everyone gets in on it.

April
Spring finally arrives. Plant our garden. Start potty training. James turns 32. Easter. Sully eats solid foods for the first time. Growing like a weed. Cece goes to the dentist for the first time. We visit Thomas. James gets a promotion. Kids are featured on CNN for National Sibling Day. Our house gets solar panels.

May
Finally, sunshine! Lots of time outside. I celebrate Mother's Day and my 33rd birthday (on the same day). We celebrate the wedding of close friends.

June
More sunshine! Family pictures. Father's Day. Family vacation to the Adirondacks, NY.

July
Low key 4th of July. Summer days at the lake house. Cece transitions to a big girl bed. Potty training is going well.

August
Outdoor fun including hiking, boating and biking. Sibling bonding. Cece's first day of Pre-School.

September
Labor day camping trip that didn't end well. RI beach day. Boating day on Long Island Sound. Swallow watching. James finally convinced me to get a fancy mattress. Didn't matter because we still had to deal with kids that sucked at sleeping (in their own beds!). I chopped off my hair. We went to a few fairs.

October
Walked the Path of Hope in memory of our friend Martin. Cece learned to poop on the potty and so we took toddlers to Thomas Land in MA to celebrate. Two trips to Burlington, VT - one for a kid free weekend with friends, one for a conference for work. Updated Cece's big girl room and tried desperately to get her to sleep in her bed instead of ours. Suffered through several bouts of colds and misery. Chopped off Cece's rat-tail pony tail. Enjoyed more than a handful of stunningly beautiful fall days. Halloween.

November
Fall fun. More warm days. Sully turns 1! And then learns to walk. Turkey day traditions.

December
Christmas decorations inside and out. Real live tree, year five. Kindness Elves visit all month. Santa. Cece turns 3! Santa's watchful eyes help Cece learn to sleep in her own bed...all night! It's a Christmas Miracle. We ride the Polar Express train. Christmas! Holiday break. James' latest (tractor) project. Family bonding.

It was a wonderful year. At times pretty challenging but almost always rewarding. We laughed, we cried, we all grew in new ways (some of us grew a lot!). Here's to 2016!
