yellow dog, green life: Fall

Welcome to our blog! We are a family of four living an ordinary life in ordinary rural Connecticut. I'm a GIS educator (think maps) and my husband is a manufacturing engineer (think machines). So, yes, we are a little nerdy. We started this blog in 2009 and it has follow us through planning our green wedding, building our green home, growing a baby bump and then another. We love our dog Summit and enjoy the good things in life, which for us include the great outdoors, exercise, photography, cooking, careers and family.
