Keepin' Busy

Forgive us for neglecting our blog lately. It's not for lack of things to talk about (that rarely happens with me), rather the opposite, we've been very busy! Both James and I have been working overtime lately to finish up projects and trainings and preparing for more to come (more on that later). The last thing I feel like doing after starring at a computer screen for 12 hours is come home and update the blog, haha. But it hasn't been all work and no play - our weekends have been full of fun, celebrating milestones with friends.

First up, two weeks ago our friends Kelly and Steve got married on the shore in Groton, CT. It was a beautiful day and I feel honored to have been part of their wedding party. Weddings are so much fun aren't they!?

Then last weekend we drove down to Philadelphia, PA and Annapolis, MD to visit our friends Suzanne and Jeremy and Caitlin and Jared. It was a great visit, we stayed in Philly on Friday night and Maryland on Saturday. On Saturday we headed to Sandy Point State Park, right on the Chesapeake, celebrating Jared's 30th birthday. He's the first in our group to head over the 30+ hill so of course we had to make a big deal of it.

Birthday boy Jared and his wife Caitlin (also my bff)

no bbq birthday bash would be right without lawn games and World Cup coverage...too bad US lost.

The next few weeks are going to continue to be busy, especially with the fourth of July holiday coming up. Then, in mid-July we're off for a working holiday in Hawaii followed by a wedding weekend in San Francisco. Tough life, huh? Look for more updates soon!
